La Aurora Preferidos Emerald

La Aurora's iconic Preferido perfecto, a bomb-shaped cigar, has been a cornerstone of the company's history for over a century. Initially introduced more than 100 years ago, it established La Aurora S.A. as a prominent cigar manufacturer. The cigar's revival in April 1999 reasserted the company's standing in the industry. Over time, the Preferido has been released with various wrapper leaves, evolving from its original Cameroon wrapper to include Connecticut broadleaf, Connecticut shade, Dominican Corojo, and Ecuadoran Sumatra versions. Notably, many of these releases are packaged in vibrant tubes, such as the green-tinted tube that contains the Emerald variant. The Emerald's unique blend of Nicaraguan, Brazilian, and Dominican tobaccos, paired with its Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, yields robust flavors of hickory wood and a distinctly masculine profile. The perfecto's precise construction, measuring 5 inches in length with a 54 ring gauge at its bulbous center, is attributed to a skilled group of rollers who work in a visible section of the factory often visited by tourists.
