Camacho Corojo Torpedo

Torpedo

The Corojo tobacco variety owes its origins to the Rodriguez family's esteemed pre-revolutionary Cuban tobacco plantation, El Corojo. Although notoriously finicky and disease-prone, Corojo seed yields exceptionally flavorful tobacco. A select few cultivators, including the Eiroa duo of Julio and his son Christian, who farm in Honduras, continue to nurture this variety, which was discontinued in Cuba years ago. The Camacho Corojo cigar line, now under the Davidoff umbrella, showcases the wrapper's rich potential. Characterized by a reddish-brown hue, the Camacho Corojo Torpedos deliver a robust and satisfying smoke, boasting a complex profile that unfolds with notes of leather and earth, ultimately giving way to a sweet finish marked by cocoa and nougat undertones.
